No
one is born knowing how to be a Mighty Man of God. We believe Christian
men are called to be a light to their homes, a help to their church, and
mentors in their community. Our
Men's Ministry focuses on bringing men together to teach them how to be
who God has called them to be. Our brothers come together in love as Spiritual
Warriors for the Lord, to laugh, to cry, to encourage one another, and
to help each other carry the weight of honor that God has placed on His
Sons. United and aligned with the vision of our Apostle Bobby G. Gardner,
these men believe their strength in the Lord will foster strong families
and in turn a stronger community.
Just
as Mary and Martha gave unwavering service to our Lord Jesus, so does
the Women's Ministry of Victory Christian Center. Our Sisters in Christ
under the leadership of Pastor Mary Gardner are instrumental in the
inner workings of all that goes on in Victory. Each year they host our
annual Women's Conference and have brought Spirit filled, anointed speakers
to our house from all over the nation. Whether coordinating events in
our church or the community, or coming together to spend time together
as Sisters in the Word, these women are an extension of their pastors'
vision and a light that touches hundreds of lives each day.
Hebrews 13:4 declares "marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled." A marriage that is honorable unto God must continually be strengthened. The individual couple has the responsibility of doing what is necessary to bring strength to the marriage.
The
aim of this ministry is to aid in that endeavor. To refresh your memory
of the love that brought you together in the beginning, to give you new
ideas, to remind you that first - before the children, the house, the job,
and the community activities - there is a marriage. To remind you that you
can still laugh together. And finally, to remind you that a strong marriage
builds a strong church and a stellar community.
"Single & Anointed" The Singles' Ministry here at Victory Christian Center is a ministry that focuses on every aspect of the single Christian life through bible studies, outreach ministries, fellowships, and other fun group activities. This is a ministry to help those who struggle with being alone and even those who do not by encouraging and building us up in the things of God. The purpose of this ministry is to prepare singles for marriage by learning to live our single lives to the fullest in Christ Jesus. As referenced in Acts 17:28 "In Him we live, we move, and we have our being," all singles are encouraged to pursue a relationship with the Lord in that He will become all things to them. The goal of this ministry is to see single Christians living satisfied, sanctified, victorious lives as overcomers who are fulfilling their purpose and destiny in the kingdom of God.
Psalms
84:10 says, "For a day in thy court is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in
the tents of wickedness." This is a role that is not taken lightly
here at Victory. The Porters are the church's first line of welcome and
communication between the head of the house and the congregation. Maintaining order throughout each service and the up keep of the sanctuary
after each
service
are just a few of the duties of the Porters. As well as serving the Pastors
and the leaders of the church, Porters tend to the needs of the congregation.
Our Porters are instrumental in the smooth flowing success of each service.
